KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha Tbk (WOM Finance) recorded a positive performance in two-wheeled vehicle financing throughout 2023. WOM Finance's Financial Director, Cincin Lisa, stated that her company successfully disbursed two-wheeled vehicle financing in 2023 amounting to IDR 2.7 trillion.

"That value increased by 11%, compared to the previous year," she said to Kontan, Friday (26/1).

Cincin explained that the growth of two-wheeled vehicle financing in 2023 was due to relatively good economic growth. In addition, it was supported by various strategies that were successfully implemented by WOM Finance.

She also said that two-wheeled financing in 2023 contributed 46% to the total company's financing disbursement.

Regarding this year, Cincin believes the financing prospects are still quite good and will continue to grow, supported by the fairly good fundamental conditions of the Indonesian economy. 

"WOM Finance itself projects that the disbursement of two-wheeled vehicle financing will be able to exceed the financing disbursement in 2023," she said.

Although still optimistic about achieving growth, Cincin does not deny that there will be obstacles related to two-wheeled vehicle financing this year.

She said that entering a political year will relatively impact the company's business activities. However, she is optimistic that this will not have a significant impact.
