XL Axiata (EXCL) Will Distribute Dividend IDR 635.55 Billion



 

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT XL Axiata Tbk, a telecommunications operator issuer, (EXCL) is set to distribute dividends amounting to Rp 635.55 billion. Each shareholder will receive a dividend of Rp 48.6 per share. 

According to the 2023 financial report, the issuer recorded a profit attributed to the parent entity of Rp 1.27 trillion in 2023, a 14.57% annual increase from Rp 1.1 trillion in 2022. 

XL Axiata's Director & Chief Financial Officer, Feiruz Ikhwan, said that based on the results of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), the company will distribute dividends of Rp 48.6 per share.


"The company will distribute 50% of the net profit for the 2023 fiscal year, equivalent to Rp 635.55 billion," Feiruz explained in a public presentation at his office on Friday (3/5).

Compared to the dividend payment from the 2022 fiscal year profit, EXCL's dividend payout ratio (DPR) remains unchanged at 50%. However, the value of the dividends distributed is higher than last year, amounting to Rp 42 per share. 

The AGMS also agreed that Rp 100 million from the net profit for the 2023 fiscal year will be allocated as a general reserve. Then about Rp 635.45 billion is recorded as retained earnings. 

The Rp 42.6 per share will be distributed within a maximum of 30 days after the announcement of the AGMS summary of EXCL. XL Axiata will also publish the dividend distribution schedule in accordance with applicable regulations.
