NEW DELHI. Kabar baik bagi pengguna BlackBerry di India dan Indonesia. Research In Motion selaku produsen BlackBerry resmi meluncurkan BlackBerry Curve 9220, sebuah ponsel murah yang menggunakan aplikasi OS 7.1 OS. RIM menyebut ponsel ini sebagai ponsel Qwety dengan layar 2,44 inci dengan dukungan QVGA. Fitur penting lainnya adalah, kamera 2 MP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, radio FM, slot kartu microSD dan 512MB RAM. Sayngnya, ponsel ini tidak mendukung jaringan 3G, hanya jaringan GSM / EDGE. Di India, BlackBerry Curve 9220 tersedia mulai 19 April, sementara di Indonesia akan diluncurkan beberapa pekan mendatang. Di India, produk anyar ini dibanderol sekitar US$ 213, kalau dirupiahkan dengan patokan Rp 9500 per dolar, maka harga BlackBerry ini berkisar Rp 2 juta.
